Local non profit, Kids Aid asked us to make a new over view and PSA videos for them, and we were honored to help such an amazing organization that is doing such important work in the community we call home.
We worked with the staff at Appleton Elementary School, and the some bussing staff for District 52 School District to make this video helping students ride the bus safely. We tried to make this video fun to watch, and catchy to help the ideas stick in the minds of D51 students.
Here is a short vide we wrote and produced for a local church to set up a sermon series. We loved working with local artist Danielle Cox on this video!
We loved working with Andrew and Sawyer on during the wedding. They had a direction they wanted their wedding video to go, and we love how this one turned out.

The legend continues! Written, directed and edited by Jared Johnson, this sequel to Appleton Aliens brings in a new character, Assistant Principal Todd Witzel. This time, Mr. Witzel gets to stay up on the roof, and much is revealed! #poopcicles
This video was a part of a multi video campaign we wrote and produced to help with a fundraiser for a local church in Grand Junction Colorado. This was a blast to work on!
Getting our monies worth out of the Burrito costume…
This video was so much fun to write and direct, and produce! A local church in Grand Junction hosts a Burrito night where folks will come, pay to eat a burrito, and the proceeds go to help fun a trip to Mexico where they will build homes for families in need. This video help get people to the event in a fun and memorable way.
This video was shot on location in Encenada Mexico. If you haven’t heard of Home of Hope, go check them out!

CRN Reveal Video
Quality Health Networks developed a software platform called the “Community Resource Network” which aims to help connect many of the different entities that are involved in helping individuals. We were honored that they gave us the nod to help create this informational video which highlighted the need for something like the CRN and how in can revolutionize the healthcare and patient relationship. This was probably our largest production of 2019.
This was a fun a quick project we did with our friends over at Kreitler. This project offered us our first chance to hang out of a moving truck with a camera and gimbal!
We really enjoyed working with our friends at Audio Video Experts on this video. They have such a great culture and are committed to excellence, which really is music to our ears. We want to thank Jeremiah Hines for trusting us, and being patient as this project came to us during a huge learning curve season.
Low resources, budget and time sometimes produce the most creativity, which was certainly the case with this project! We had less than one hour to film this and less than one week turn around time, but we are pretty proud of how this turned out! Thanks to all the good sports and friends at Wingate Elementary!
Maverick Aquatics is a swim team located in Grand Junction Colorado with a heritage of Discipline, Strength and Development all done in a family atmosphere. We were honored to help them tell a little piece of this story.
We love working with our friends over at MRP. They make amazing mountain bike suspension products (we know, they are on all our bikes!) This video is highlighting their Ribbon SL fork, a short travel fork made for the “quckest way up, and the funnest way down”!
We got to follow around two AMAZING riders, Cameron Joye and Trevor McCutcheon on their home trails. This was another project for our friends at MRP, showcasing their Ribbon Air forks.
You know when you were a kid and got a new pair of shoes, how those shoes made you run faster, jump higher and everything just seemed at your speed? Ya, a new Ribbon is kinda like that…
This project was very special to me because we got to work with daughter Addison. I think she did a fantastic job! Thank you to Troy Behrens with Time Flies Photo for all the aerial shots and a few steady cam shots, Aaron Poust for being a great PA, my wife Katie for being a driver and camera op for one of the shots! And of course Sarah Allen and Tom Chapman for lending their acting talents!
One of our first projects, as a matter of fact, when we started this project, we didn’t even own a camera yet. The fist shoots were done on a borrowed Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and a iPhone! We so appreciate the opportunity and trust extended to us by Principal Cami Kidd and all the staff and students at Shelledy Elementary to help tell this fantastic story.
This is a project we did last fall for some dear friends of ours before they moved to Texas to take over as youth pastors of a church in Arlington. They showed up with several weeks of video curriculum ready to go! We think that was a pretty great idea, and loved getting to work with them on one more project before they moved.

This is a version of the Maverick Aquatics video we did, but not color graded and set to different music. There was something about the slow motion shots, the water, the human story and the music that has me kinda hooked to this little edit.
This video is part of a larger video we made with our friends over at Time Flies Photography. The project was sponsored by Big Game Forever, an organization formed to help protect the conservation of americas wildlife.
Another one of our first videos, also shot before we actually had cameras! Shot on an iPhone and iPad, but we still think it turned out alright and the main thing is…the kids loved it and the Spell-a-thon was a HUGE success for the school. Thanks to my great little actress’ for helping me out and being amazing on camera! Such a fun video to make!
