Church Partnerships
Previously, Blubee owner/Operator Jared worked for a local church, where he learned not only a lot about filmmaking, but also what modern local churches need and expect when it comes to video assets. This experience gives us a knack when it comes to partnering with local and regional churches to help produce video content. We know that churches use video a little differently than other organizations. That often the value add for churches doesn’t always come with the resolution of the video or fancy camera work (although that doesn’t mean its not appreciated!) but more in communicating a message about life change. Film assets for churches can often boil down to being a tool to spread the Gospel, or help invite the congregation into what the church is doing. If this sounds like a need that your church has, yet you can’t or don’t want to afford a full time video staff, we are here to help!

For First Presbyterian Church of Grand Junction, we provide editing services for their weekly online sermons. They film everything on their campus, and after we get the footage, we will assemble, sweeten the audio and color correct, and frame the video, add in musical elements, text and graphics and then upload to their Vimeo where they can then post the video to their website. Additionally we provide filming for special videos for First Presbyterian on occasion.

For the Downtown Vineyard Church, we film and edit their weekly video announcements. Additionally we create series promo/intro videos that are used to promote upcoming sermon series, and also provide a nice intro buffer or walk up section before the sermon, setting the stage the the next sermon in that series. All videos are branded with the DTV Church brand, and we work closely with Paul and his staff to make sure we are helping with the mission and vision of his church.
How We Can Help
Although we will always try and taylor our services to what the specific needs and frequency your church or organization has, we do have common services or partnership options we see most used with our church clients.

A lot of churches have a need to produce original videos, specific to their church, but just don’ t have the budget to hire videos staff and buy the necessary equipment. We can come work with you in planning the video, film at your location, and then edit the project in our studio and get you the video you need to help communicate to your congregation.

Ok so maybe you are able to cover filming on location, or have some raw footage you need turned into something beautiful and usable. We can take that footage, color correct it, fix any video and audio issues, and then edit into what you need.

So sometimes your series, sermon or event just needs something to help tell a story, or send a message. We are skilled and experienced and creating content for churches that do just that. From planning to scripting, casting, filming and post production, we can help get that special video that is can really help put that special touch on what your church is doing.
